School Maintenance Team Member | Horsham | 29,000 - 30,000 per annum | Full-Time
This school is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Team Member to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school site through effective maintenance, repair, and upkeep of equipment and grounds. This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and service.
Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs across the school site.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
  • Liaise with external suppliers and contractors when required.
  • Keep school grounds clean, safe, and litter free.
  • Complete and document scheduled health and safety checks.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and replacements.

Experience and Skills required

  • Proven experience in general maintenance or facilities roles (preferably in education).
  • Ability to carry out a range of DIY tasks confidently.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is desirable.
