Assistant Manager - General Practice

TPF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a growing firm of chartered accountants based near Horsham. Our client is looking to add a qualified Assistant Manager to their team in a general practice capacity.

This is the perfect opportunity for a qualified accountant who is ready to take the next step into their first managerial role. You will be working closely with clients, managing your own portfolio, and providing guidance and support to junior members of the team.

The role will involve:

• Managing a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors

• Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and providing training where needed

• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent service and strong relationships

• Overseeing accounts preparation, tax compliance, and general practice services

The successful candidate will:

Be ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)

Have strong experience in general practice within an accountancy firm

Be confident liaising directly with clients

Have the ability to mentor and support junior team members

What’s on offer:

Competitive salary of £40,000 – £50,000
