What you'll be doing:
  • You will ensure Parts Manager duties are completed effectively, managing and maintaining inventory of all parts, tools, and consumables for plant and machinery.
  • Ensuring the timely ordering, receiving, and stocking of parts to support maintenance and repair operations.
  • Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to secure the best pricing, availability, and delivery terms.
  • Monitoring stock levels and implementing robust control procedures to minimise downtime.
  • Collaborating with workshop and service teams to accurately forecast future parts requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records of parts usage, purchases, and stock levels using inventory management systems.

What you'll need to succeed:
  • Proven experience working on Syrinx software is desirable.
  • A background within the Plant, Agriculture, Powered Access, Crane, or Forklift sector.
  • Strong organisational and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to effectively supervise stock and inventory.
