An all-through special school for boys aged 5-18 years old, located in the beautiful West Sussex countryside, is seeking a Science Teacher on a permanent basis.. Your New Role
- Delivering high-quality Science education to students in Years 7-11.
- Working with children who have complex emotional needs and ensuring de-escalation before disruption.
- Maintaining good relationships with pupils, exercising appropriate authority, and acting decisively when necessary.
- Demonstrating an understanding of how pupils learn and how to meet their individual requirements.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with special needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- QTS/QTLS or an equivalent overseas qualification.
- Experience working with children who have complex emotional needs is essential.
- A track record of facilitating students to fulfil their potential is preferred.
- A genuine level of care and desire for helping students thrive.
- A driving licence is required due to the school’s rural location.
