We're looking for a reliable and skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join our growing team. You’ll play a vital role in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting across a diverse range of commercial and industrial premises.

The Role

As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you’ll be a key part of our field service team, ensuring that life safety systems across our client base remain reliable, compliant, and effective.

Your role will involve:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on fire alarm systems and emergency lighting.• Conduct fault finding, diagnostics, repairs, and system upgrades.• Work primarily across Sussex with occasional wider travel.• Deliver a high level of customer service, building trusted relationships with clients.• Ensure all systems comply with fire safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., BS 5839 & BS5266).• Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience working as a Fire Alarm Engineer.• Strong technical knowledge of fire alarms, emergency lighting, and relevant compliance standards.• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving ability.• Professional communication and organisational skills.• Valid UK driving licence (maximum 6 points).• FIA or BFC certification (preferred but not essential).
