We are seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join our dynamic team at a well-established secondary school in Surrey. This part-time, permanent role is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching in Food Technology.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to students across Key Stages 3 to 4.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages students' creativity and skills in food preparation and nutrition.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and educational practices, with particular focus on Food Technology.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the delivery of the subject and participate in school events and activities.
  • Manage classroom resources and ensure a safe and tidy environment that promotes learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Food Technology or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Commitment to professional development and maintaining high teaching standards.
