Senior Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (Neuro Rehabilitation)

Salary: £46,148 - £47,073 per annum DOE

Located in Horsham

We are looking to recruit a Senior Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, wants to develop their experience by working in our client's highly regarded service in Horsham on a permanent basis.

You'll be based onsite at their neuro centre in Horsham that delivers specialist neuro rehabilitation to adults with an ABI in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate independently as a Speech and Language Therapist within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
  • Evaluate how an individual's communication abilities affect their everyday activities and deliver targeted interventions accordingly.
  • Collaborate with individuals and their support networks to identify challenges and develop practical solutions.
  • Conduct communication assessments, formulate management and rehabilitation plans, and refer for specialist evaluations when needed.

Requirements:

  • The successful applicant will have a Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Registered with the HCPC.
  • Able to manage complex dysphagia within an adult neurology caseload
  • Minimum 4 years qualified experience encompassing complex case management
  • Specialist knowledge of SaLT models and interventions in ABI e.g. social communication, cognitive communication, communication partner training.
