Role Overview
The Fire Systems Project Manager will oversee multiple fire system projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The role includes client engagement, site visits, technical oversight, financial control, and coordination with both internal teams and external stakeholders. You'll act as a key link between operational delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full project lifecycle from handover to completion
Financial management: forecasting, cost control, margin protection
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors
Generate leads and provide accurate quotations for services
Prepare and deliver technical proposals
Support sales teams in securing new business opportunities
Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety regulations
Conduct regular site visits and ensure all works meet quality standards
Monitor performance against KPIs and make necessary adjustments
Manage variations and ensure contractual obligations are met
Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in project management within the fire safety industry
Strong understanding of fire detection systems and British Standards
Leadership or supervisory background within a technical environment
FIA module training (preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Experience with public sector or housing projects (desirable)
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
