I am working alongside a chartered accountancy based in the Bradford area who are looking to add a Payroll & Bookkeeper to their established team. They are going through a period of sustained growth and are looking for a part time candidate for 20-28 hours/week that will bring valuable experience to the team.

Key Duties/Tasks:
* Technical skills required including payroll systems & excel
* Support the busy payroll department high volume starters and leavers
* Must have reliable Excel as lots of manual processing
* High volume, fast paced
* Provide comprehensive advice to employees in relation to payroll queries
* Ensuring all necessary payments are made within the deadlines set, for example Pension Contributions.
* Manual calculations
* Experience of accounts responsibilities such as processing VAT/general bookkeeping
* Pensions & HMRC Submissions experience
* Sage system ideally

Normal working hours are 37.5 hours per week, 9:00am to 5.00pm with 1-hour unpaid break.
