Job Title: Glass & Glazing Operative – Window Production
Location: Houghton-Le-Spring, DH4 5PH
Hours: 08:00-17:00
Pay: Competitive, £15.00-17.00 per hour
About the Role:
We are seeking reliable and skilled operatives to join our production team in the manufacture of high-quality windows and glass units. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or glazing environment and be comfortable working on production lines while adhering to strict health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and fabricate window units and glass products according to specifications
Handle glass and other materials safely and efficiently
Operate machinery and production equipment in line with safety guidelines
Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant workspace
Report any quality or safety issues promptly
Requirements:
Previous experience in glazing, glass handling, or production assembly preferred
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and quality
Good timekeeping and reliability
Understanding of health and safety procedures
