The Role:As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of all site machinery. This includes developing and implementing PPM schedules, responding to equipment breakdowns, and performing routine mechanical and electrical maintenance. The machinery on site ranges from paint lines to manual equipment, so versatility and a hands-on approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer:
- Develop and maintain effective PPM schedules
- Perform routine and reactive maintenance (both mechanical and electrical)
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs quickly and safely
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
- Use IT systems for maintenance tracking and planning
Requirements:
- HNC qualification in Engineering (essential)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong IT literacy
- Ability to read engineering drawings and work independently or as part of a team
Working Hours:Day shift - Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm
Salary:£38,000 per annum
