Contract Manager

Are you a Contract Manager experienced in subcontractor commercial fit out? Would you like to join a growing division within a global construction group, working on high-spec data centre projects?

Our client is a well-established international construction brand with a specialist contracting arm focused on data centre fit out. Due to an internal promotion, theyre now looking for a Contract Manager to join their high-performing team, specifically managing structural ceilings, metal partitions, and access flooring in data centre environments.

This is an excellent opportunity to step into a leadership role, backed by one of the most employee-focused companies in the subcontracting fit-out space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full project lifecycle on high-value data centre fit out projects as a Contract Manager.
  • Oversee installation of structural ceiling systems, metal security partitions, white wall, and raised access flooring.
  • Use ASTA to programme and monitor project timelines.
  • Ensure delivery meets technical specifications, health & safety standards, and client expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with site managers, designers, and suppliers.
  • Conduct 2 3 site visits per week; remainder of time is home-based.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports to ensure smooth project handover.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Proven experience as a Contract Manager in the subcontracting fit out industry, ideally from a ceilings and partitions background.
  • Strong technical understanding of ceiling systems (suspended, structural, or bespoke) and partitioning.
  • Solid experience managing commercial fit out projects.
  • Proficiency in ASTA Powerproject is essential.
  • Strong IT and project reporting skills.
  • Able to manage multiple stakeholders and site teams.
  • Comfortable with hybrid working and regular travel to project sites.
