Door Entry PPM/Reactive Engineer (Entrotec understanding)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Door Entry Engineer with knowledge of Entrotec door entry systems to carry out both PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive repairs across residential and commercial properties in the Hounslow area. The ideal candidate will be confident in fault-finding, diagnosing, and repairing access control and door entry systems, ensuring high standards of safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned maintenance and servicing on door entry and access control systems, with a focus on Entrotec equipment.

  • Attend and resolve reactive call-outs and breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.

  • Diagnose, fault-find, and repair system issues efficiently.

  • Conduct testing, inspection, and recording of results in line with compliance standards.

  • Provide professional customer service while liaising with residents, clients, and site managers.

  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations and company procedures.

  • Maintain accurate job records and reports using company systems.

  • Support the wider team when required and contribute to delivering excellent service levels.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Door Entry/Access Control Engineer.

  • Knowledge of Entrotec door entry systems (essential).

  • Experience with PPM schedules and reactive maintenance.

  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Full UK driving licence.
