About Us
Our client is a trusted provider of electrical maintenance services, delivering high-quality solutions to commercial and industrial clients. We are seeking an experienced PPM Electrician to join them on a self-employed basis, working night shifts across Southern Airports — primarily Gatwick and Heathrow. The role includes planned preventative maintenance, as well as unitary and reactive work.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM on electrical systems and equipment within the airport environment

• Complete unitary and reactive tasks during evening/night hours

• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults promptly and effectively

• Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and airport regulation standards

• Work independently and within a small team to meet scheduled maintenance requirements

• Maintain accurate documentation and job records

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualified Electrician

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

• Valid ECS/CSCS card

• Proven experience in PPM maintenance (commercial/industrial preferred)

• Airport experience beneficial but not essential

• Reliable with consistent night-shift availability

• Own tools

• Full right to work in the UK

• Working hours: 8pm–4am, Monday to Friday
