Are you a qualified finance professional with strong modelling skills and experience partnering with senior stakeholders? Cedar is supporting a major West London transport operator in their search for a fully qualified FP&A Analyst-a role that's become available due to an internal promotion, reflecting the business's focus on development and progression.

Reporting to a supportive, people first FP&A Manager, you'll help shape financial strategy in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. Whether you come from an FP&A background or a Group Accounting role with solid modelling experience, this is a great opportunity to step into a commercially focused position with real influence.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and enhance the Excel-based Budget and Forecast model
  • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts and KPIs, providing clear insights on variances
  • Partner with senior leadership and board members to support performance management
  • Lead initiatives to improve processes and controls, including 'as-is/to-be' mapping
  • Support key finance projects and ensure strong cost control culture

Essential Requirements:

  • Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • 4-5 years' experience in a finance function, with advanced Excel modelling skills
  • Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting and financial business partnering
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with strong planning and organisational skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive and collaborative in approach

Desirable experience:

  • Partnering with senior stakeholders or board-level reporting
  • Working with SAP, Snowflake, or other reporting tools
  • Exposure to structured reporting systems like Business Intelligence
  • Any mentoring or leadership experience
