Class 1 Personnel are currently recruiting forklift drivers to join a busy international cargo warehouse at Heathrow Airport.
The Candidate:
The ideal person for the Forklift Driver position would need the following:
- - Full Valid Forklift Licence (counterbalance)
- - Be able to provide your last 5 years history
- - Be prepared to undergo a UK criminal Check
- - The candidate must be flexible with shift work, including nights
- - UK right to work
- - Proof of National Insurance
Duties and Responsibilities of a Forklift Driver:
- Operate counterbalanced forklifts to load/unload vehicles and move cargo safely.
- Candidates will be expected to use hand-held devices to locate and identify cargo.
- Process paperwork in accordance with our client's requirements.
- Handling special cargo products
- Building and breaking pallets
- Manual handling
- Preparing and palletizing cargo as needed
- To make a success of this role, you must have previous experience of working in a busy modern warehouse
- Our warehouse operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you will also need to be prepared to work shift patterns.
Shifts: Please note the warehouse operates 24hrs a day 7 days a week. Candidates must be flexible to work both days and nights.
