About the Role

Reporting into the Assistant Director for Area Regeneration, the focus of this role is as a 'steward for place' for a group of designated regeneration areas, taking a strategic approach to regeneration and growth.

Harnessing strategic investment and partnerships, you will be responsible for driving forward programmes of investment into our neighbourhoods for the benefit of our communities. You will lead on the development and delivery of masterplans, town centre visions, seeking to maximise the potential of sites developed through the Asset Management Strategy and the Local Plan, and ensuring alignment with the council's localities approach.

About You

You will be a natural collaborator who will align council and partner resources to unlock and accelerate regeneration delivery. You will have excellent communication skills, financial and commercial acumen, and be adept at establishing and developing partnership working with a range of partners (public, private, third sector). You may have a background in planning, architecture, surveying, we welcome a broad skillset and range of delivery experience that will need to be brought to bear to ensure delivery in these key roles.
