Passionate Science (Biology) Teacher Wanted in Hounslow! Curious Secondary School
Location: Hounslow Role: Science Teacher (Biology Specialism) (Full-Time, Permanent)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons with a Biology specialism across Key Stages 3-4, and potentially A-Level Biology.
- Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of biological concepts and foster their curiosity about the natural world.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department to share best practice and enhance the Science and Biology curriculum.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Science and Biology.
- Potentially contribute to extracurricular science clubs or activities related to biology.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Biology or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level, with a strong interest or experience in Biology (ECTs welcome to apply).
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology and a passion for the subject.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire students' curiosity in Science.
- A commitment to fostering a love of learning and a deep understanding of biological concepts within a brilliant and encouraging setting.
