New position - Warehouse manager you will be reporting to the Airfreight Director, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our busy warehouse. You’ll ensure the safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining the highest standards in productivity, safety, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring timely and efficient workflows
- Lead, motivate, and develop the warehouse team to achieve performance targets
- Monitor and improve operational practices, resolving issues and identifying trends
- Maintain compliance with Health & Safety and aviation security regulations
- Safeguard all property and maintain a secure working environment
- Plan deliveries and collections to meet customer schedules and service standards
- Manage stock control, conduct regular stock takes, and resolve discrepancies
- Optimise resource use to manage costs and maximise return on investment
- Implement and improve technology solutions to streamline processes
- Produce accurate performance reports and statistics for senior management
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse and yard environment
- Collaborate with facilities to address building maintenance and improvements

- Work with the management team to enhance operational efficiency

Experience Required
- Proven experience in warehouse management (airfreight or logistics background preferred)
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Solid understanding of warehouse technology and process improvement
- Excellent planning, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and aviation security regulations
