New position - Warehouse manager you will be reporting to the Airfreight Director, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our busy warehouse. You’ll ensure the safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining the highest standards in productivity, safety, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring timely and efficient workflows
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the warehouse team to achieve performance targets
  • Monitor and improve operational practices, resolving issues and identifying trends
  • Maintain compliance with Health & Safety and aviation security regulations
  • Safeguard all property and maintain a secure working environment
  • Plan deliveries and collections to meet customer schedules and service standards
  • Manage stock control, conduct regular stock takes, and resolve discrepancies
  • Optimise resource use to manage costs and maximise return on investment
  • Implement and improve technology solutions to streamline processes
  • Produce accurate performance reports and statistics for senior management
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse and yard environment
  • Collaborate with facilities to address building maintenance and improvements

Continuous Improvement

  • Work with the management team to enhance operational efficiency
  • Support business changes that drive growth and performance

Experience Required

  • Proven experience in warehouse management (airfreight or logistics background preferred)
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Solid understanding of warehouse technology and process improvement
  • Excellent planning, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety and aviation security regulations
