Igloo is looking for Recovery Drivers to join our client’s team in the Heathrow area on a permanent basis! Our client is a fast-growing automotive logistics company dedicated to providing exceptional customer experiences through their consistently high standards.

What kind of person are we looking for?

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a recovery or tow truck driver.
  • Full, clean category C licence (training provided to achieve Category CE if needed).
  • Valid CPC & Digital tachograph cards.
  • Knowledge of tachograph legislation.
  • Knowledge of vehicle recovery techniques and equipment.
  • High standard of safety and professionalism.
  • Positive, proactive team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and work unsupervised.
  • Must pass NPPV2 vetting process.
  • IVR training (Institute of Vehicle Recovery) is desirable.

The Role:

  • Recover various vehicles across London safely and efficiently.
  • Provide courteous and professional service to clients and customers.
  • Inspect recovered vehicles thoroughly, documenting damages or issues.
  • Collaborate with fellow drivers and support staff.
  • Strictly adhere to safety standards and regulations.
  • Complete administrative duties accurately and promptly using electronic devices.
