Job Title: Career Grade Planner (Development Management)
Location: Hounslow - Hybrid - 2 days in office
Contract Type: Temporary (12 months)
Annual Salary: 21.41 - 26.13 per hour PAYE or 27.86 - 34.12 Umbrella

### Key Responsibilities:
- Customer-Centric Service: Deliver an excellent, high-profile Development Management Service focused on meeting the needs of service users.
- Planning Applications: Process planning applications, manage appeals, and address customer complaints, providing expert advice to officers, councillors, and developers.
- Training & Development: Stay current with the planning system through continuous training, ensuring your skills and knowledge are top-notch.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to improve service quality and tackle local challenges innovatively.
- Performance Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team and promote a positive image of Hounslow.
### What We're Looking For:
- Planning Expertise: Strong knowledge of planning legislation, policies, and practises.
- Advising Skills: Ability to provide sound technical and professional advice to councillors and management.
- Project Management: Experience in leading complex applications and negotiating effectively with stakeholders.

- Communication Skills: Excellent report presentation and appeal management abilities.
