The Street Lighting Maintenance role requires a time-served electrician with a minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical circuits, preferably in exterior lighting applications or street lighting.
Candidates must possess formal qualifications including C&G 2360 ½ or equivalent, AM1/AM2, 18th Edition Regs, Testing & Inspection, and a full UK driving license.
The position offers a salary of £30,000 to £35,000 per year, with opportunities for overtime and additional payments for out-of-hours emergency call-outs and winter maintenance.
The successful applicant should demonstrate strong communication skills, flexibility in working hours, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality repairs to TFL's standards.
Personal qualities such as a proactive attitude, openness, and teamwork are essential for this role, along with knowledge of the local London network and traffic management.
