Passionate English Teacher Wanted in Hounslow! High-Achieving 11-18 School
Our high-achieving 11-18 school in Hounslow is seeking a Passionate English Teacher to join our successful and dedicated English department. We are looking for a teacher who can inspire a love of literature and language in students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach A-Level.
Location: Hounslow Role: English Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent) Start Date: September
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5).
- Foster a deep appreciation for literature and develop students' writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and deliver a rich and challenging English curriculum.
- Contribute to the effective assessment and monitoring of student progress in English.
- Potentially contribute to the teaching of English Literature or Language at A-Level, depending on experience.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in English Literature, Language, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching English at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
- A deep passion for English and the ability to inspire students with your enthusiasm and knowledge.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to delivering engaging and differentiated English lessons that cater to the needs of all learners.
