Passionate Geography Teacher Wanted in Hounslow! Global Secondary School

Location: Hounslow Role: Geography Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3-4, with a focus on global issues and perspectives.
• Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of geographical concepts, processes, and their global context.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Humanities department to share best practice and enhance the Geography curriculum with a global dimension.
• Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Geography.
• Potentially contribute to extracurricular activities that promote global awareness and understanding.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Geography.
• Degree in Geography or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Geography at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject of Geography and its global relevance.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire students in Geography within a global framework.
• A commitment to fostering global citizenship and an understanding of global issues within a brilliant and encouraging setting.
