Dedicated History Teacher Wanted in Hounslow! Supportive Humanities Department
Our outstanding opportunity school in Hounslow is seeking a Dedicated History Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking Humanities department. We are looking for a teacher who can bring the past to life for our students across Key Stages 3 and 4 and inspire a lifelong interest in history.
Location: Hounslow Role: History Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent) Start Date: September
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Foster a critical understanding of historical events and their significance in the modern world.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and share effective teaching resources and strategies.
- Contribute to the accurate assessment and monitoring of student progress in History.
- Be committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in History.
- Degree in History or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching History at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
- A strong subject knowledge and a passion for making history relevant and engaging for students.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, student-centered History lessons.
