Our outstanding opportunity school in Hounslow is seeking a Dedicated Religious Studies Teacher to join their high-achieving 11-18 school. The successful candidate, a Religious Studies Teacher, will teach Religious Studies from KS3 to KS5. The department is well-resourced, offering a modern and engaging Religious Studies curriculum. This Religious Studies Teacher role is ideal for someone passionate about Religious Studies education. TLR opportunities are possible for the right Religious Studies Teacher to lead Religious Studies initiatives. We need a strong Religious Studies Teacher for our Religious Studies team. Location: Hounslow Role: Religious Studies Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent) Start Date: September TLR: Possible for the right Religious Studies Teacher
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Religious Studies lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5 Religious Studies).
- Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for Religious Studies concepts and diverse belief systems.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Religious Studies curriculum.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Religious Studies.
- Potentially contribute to extracurricular Religious Studies activities or interfaith dialogues.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Religious Studies or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Religious Studies at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Religious Studies education.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire students in Religious Studies.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and a willingness to contribute to the department (for TLR consideration for Religious Studies).
