Our outstanding opportunity school in Hounslow is seeking a Dedicated Science Teacher to join their high-achieving 11-18 school. The successful candidate will teach KS3-KS4 Science, with potential opportunities to specialise at KS5. The department is well-resourced, offering a modern and engaging Science curriculum. This Science Teacher role is ideal for someone passionate about Science education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5).
  • Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for a wide range of scientific concepts.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Science curriculum.
  • Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Science.
  • Potentially contribute to the teaching of Science at A-Level, depending on experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire students in Science.
