- Support pupils with EBD in accessing the curriculum and managing their behaviour
- Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions tailored to individual needs
- Assist the class teacher in implementing behaviour support strategies
- Promote emotional well-being and positive social interactions
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Liaise with SENCO and other professionals to support pupil progress
- Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently
- Proven experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties
- Understanding of behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a SEND Learning Support Assistant
- Ability to work flexibly across different age groups and learning needs
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- A proactive, patient and resilient approach to supporting pupils
