Team: Adult Social Care - Mental Health
Contract: Temporary | Full-time
Rate: Competitive (DOE)
The London Borough of Hounslow is seeking an experienced Mental Health Social Worker to join their Adult Social Care team.
In this role, you'll provide person-centred support to adults experiencing mental health difficulties, focusing on wellbeing, recovery, and prevention. You'll work collaboratively with individuals, carers, and partner agencies to build resilience and promote independence within the community.
Safeguarding is a key priority for Hounslow - you'll play a vital part in ensuring adults at risk are protected, in line with the principles of Making Safeguarding Personal.
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker (SWE registered)
Experience in Mental Health Social Work
Strong understanding of the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act 1983/2007, and Mental Capacity Act 2005
Commitment to person-centred, strengths-based practice
