We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive school in Hounslow. This role is ideal for an experienced TA who is Team Teach trained and confident supporting children with a range of special educational needs, including those with challenging behaviour.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring they are engaged and included in all learning activities.
  • Use Team Teach de-escalation strategies effectively to maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and other support staff to deliver individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Support pupils both in and out of the classroom, including 1:1 and small group interventions.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes independence and confidence.


Requirements:

  • Team Teach trained (essential).
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with behavioural needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
