Are you a recent or soon-to-be Linguistics graduate with a passion for communication, language development, and helping children succeed? Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in a school before pursuing a career in speech and language therapy, educational psychology, or another area of education?

We are working with a forward-thinking, values-driven primary school in West London that is looking for enthusiastic, reflective, and dedicated graduates to join their team in September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience supporting pupils with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN) both in and out of the classroom. You'll work closely with teachers and specialists to deliver targeted interventions, support children's communication skills, and contribute to a nurturing, inclusive school environment.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils' speech, language, and communication development

  • Delivering tailored interventions to support students with SLCN and other needs

  • Helping to maintain a positive and well-organised learning environment

  • Assisting with supervision during break times and lunchtimes

  • Building strong relationships with students, staff, and families

  • Supporting the safeguarding and well-being of all pupils

About You:

  • A degree in Linguistics, Speech and Language Sciences, or a related field (completed or completing by summer 2025)

  • A genuine interest in speech and language development in children

  • Motivated, proactive, and eager to develop professionally

  • A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and listening skills

  • Committed to inclusion, equality, and ensuring every child can thrive
