This small to medium sized agent are looking to add a Project Co-Ordinator to join their busy team

· Over two years’ experience in freight forwarding · Preferable multimodal understanding · Car driver - clean licence · Flexibility · Attitude is key

This role ideally needs you to come from the following background

Duties to include: · Gathering information and providing clients with accurate information· Identifying the most appropriate form of transit and identifying and mitigating potential risk· Oversee and assist in the preparation of quotations for clients, recording the information on the Company databases and following up to secure business· Booking shipments with hauliers, ocean lines and airlines· Completing AWB's, bills of lading, customs entries and identification and preparation of all other documentation required for export and re-import· Liaising and updating clients, overseas agents, and suppliers as necessary.· Supervise and monitor through transit corridor with hauliers, ocean lines, airlines and overseas partners· Ensuring correct customs procedures are being used · Monitoring of shipments including accurate booking in on internal system· Supervise and assist cost accruals and charging of shipments including the sending out of invoice and back up documentation to the relevant party.

Requirements:· Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an operational environment (multi modal would be an asset) · Aviation Security Training level CO Level (can be given by the Company) · Satisfactory CRC check and satisfactory 5-year background checks and eligibility to work in the UK· Full, clean driving licence· Positive, 'can-do' attitude· Able to organise themselves and work independently. · Able to manage and organize several tasks simultaneously.

Salary up to c£38k depending expMonday to Friday 9-5.30
