This is a unique opportunity to not only be the Head Chef for a close-knit team in an established, independent gastro-pub and brewery. It also involves taking an immediate, central role in a significant capital investment project to redesign the kitchen, service areas and brewery in collaboration with the Owners, General Manager, Architects and Building Contractors. You will have the opportunity to build a fresh, new kitchen. As a member of the Strategic Team you will liaise with the Owners and General Manager on a regular basis. Since we are a fully independent business, you will have the chance to directly contribute to decisions at all levels.
The Urchin is one of the best pub / restaurants in Brighton & Hove. We are part of an active, friendly local community and hold a number of fun events throughout the year. It is a busy and energetic place to work with a great team. You'll love it.
