Come and be part of the best team in town. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Assistant General Manager to join the Ginger Family.

The Gingerman Group have been at the heart of the restaurant industry in Brighton for 25 years with four incredibly successful sites.

We dedicate making our restaurants an inspiring, exciting and fun place to work.

The ideal candidate must have managerial experience working in front of house, a passion for great food, diverse drinks and excellent people skills. The role would suit someone who gets a thrill out of working in a vibrant restaurant and who can provide excellent service standards and is super personable to our guests.

We are a hotel with 11 bedrooms and 3 mews houses, and the managers will have daily contact with the guests, booking them in for our food service, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Checking guests in and liaising with the housekeeping team and hotel reception for a smooth and pleasant experience with us.

Reporting into the General Manager (GM), this role will work alongside another AM, and share the working weeks hours with a very flexible rota covering all service times, with some Friday and Saturday nights off.

With a balance of responsibilities, the AM will lead the team in the GM's absence, taking full responsibility of the floor team. Admins tasks to be completed daily and accurately, and is a key member of the management team, representing the brand and reputation of the Gingergroup.
