Sonic Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Accountant for a successful Manufacturing business located in central Huddersfield.
This role offers a salary between £28,000 and £32,000, along with ACCA/CIMA study support and other benefits.
The position requires experience in assisting with month-end processes and proficiency in Excel functions such as pivot tables and vlookups.
The Assistant Accountant will report to the Finance Manager and be involved in reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and the annual audit.
This is an on-site role with a Monday to Friday schedule, providing 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.

We are working with a very successful Manufacturing business who are base din central Huddersfield. This is a newly created Assistant Accountant opportunity which will offer ACCA/CIMA study support, alongside other great company benefits.

Client Details

Our client is a leading Manufacturing and Production business who are based in Huddersfiled but operate throughout Europe. Due to a recent restructure in the department, a new Assistant Accountant role has become available, reporting into the Finance Manager.

Description

As the Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for:

Reporting and analysis
Balance sheet reconciliations
Month end adjustments including journal postings, accruals and prepayments
Be involved with the annual audit
Assist in working toward month, year and period end reporting deadlines

Profile

The successful Assistant Accountant will:

Be confident using Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs etc.)
Have experience in assisting at month end in some capacity
