Design Engineer

Role:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Design Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and development of bespoke machinery and advanced engineering solutions within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop bespoke machinery, components, and systems to meet customer requirements.

• Work with pneumatics, rotary systems, carbon fibre, and electronics to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Produce detailed engineering drawings and documentation using CAD software.

• Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth transition from design to manufacture.

• Support projects from concept through to installation and commissioning.
  
  

Ideal Candidate:

• Time-served, apprenticeship-trained, or with relevant production engineering experience.

• Strong background in mechanical design, ideally with bespoke machinery.

• Knowledge of pneumatic and rotary systems.

• Experience with carbon fibre or electronics integration is highly desirable.

• Experience in leading a team

• Flexible, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple projects

• Experience in Autodesk Inventor (not essential)
