Join a growing team as a Design Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in the order process from quotation to final delivery. You'll support the creation of all deliverables required by the Engineering department, ensuring you are providing customers with the most reliable and high-quality products. As part of the Engineering team, you will report directly to the Engineering Manager and be responsible for all aspects of engineering output.

What to Expect:

  • Lead the design and development of new valve products while continuously improving and updating existing products to meet evolving customer needs and industry standards.
  • Implement cost-effective design solutions without compromising on quality or performance, ensuring optimal value for both the company and customers.
  • Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials using Syspro, ensuring all components and materials are correctly listed and accounted for.
  • Utilise Autodesk Inventor to create precise detailed drawings and comprehensive General Arrangement drawings, facilitating clear communication and understanding of design specifications.
  • Prepare detailed design reports to meet code requirements and conduct thorough technical reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Provide technical support to the sales team and assist customers with product-related inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

What We Need from You

  • HND or Degree level education in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in the valve industry
  • Solid working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor (3D) and AutoCAD (2D), or SolidWorks
  • Excellent knowledge of valve design codes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Desire to achieve and excel

What We Can Offer

  • Salary up to 40,000
  • Potential discretionary annual bonus based on company performance
  • 38.5 hours per week: Monday to Thursday (8:00am - 4:45pm, lunch 12:30 to 1:00pm), Friday (8:00am - 1:30pm, no lunch)
  • 33 days annual leave
