Branch Manager
£35,000 p/a + commission, HD1, Permanent, Car Allowance

We are proud to be working with a highly respected, independent recruitment agency based in Huddersfield, established for over 30 years and known for its strong client relationships, loyal candidate base and outstanding reputation across the region.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Branch Manager to lead the Huddersfield office into its next phase of growth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, people focused business that values quality, integrity, and long term partnerships.

The Role

As Branch Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the branch, combining hands-on leadership with strategic development. You will be trusted to shape the future of the office while maintaining the high standards the business is known for.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all day to day branch operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

  • Develop and deliver strategic plans to achieve sales targets and grow the client base

  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of recruitment consultants and support staff

  • Build and maintain long standing relationships with clients and candidates

  • Identify new business opportunities by monitoring local market trends

  • Manage branch budgets, forecasts and financial performance

  • Maintain exceptional service standards and customer satisfaction

  • Oversee recruitment processes to ensure high quality candidate placements

About You
  • Proven experience as a Branch Manager or senior leader within a recruitment agency

  • Strong knowledge of the recruitment market and local business landscape

  • Confident, approachable leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strategic thinker with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

  • Comfortable working to targets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient with recruitment systems and Microsoft Office
