HGV Class 2 Refuse Collector – HD1 Area
Location: Huddersfield (HD1)
Job Type: Full-time | Ongoing Contract
Pay Rate: £12.56ph
Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday, early starts (6:00 AM)
Guaranteed 40 hours per week, even with early finishes
We’re hiring HGV Class 2 drivers for refuse collection work in the Huddersfield (HD1) area. Join a reliable, friendly team where your work keeps the community clean and safe!
Responsibilities:
Driving a Class 2 refuse vehicle on designated routes
Working closely with a team of loaders
Ensuring safe and timely collections of household waste and recycling
Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues
Maintaining a professional and customer-focused attitude
Requirements:
Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
No more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR or IN convictions)
Previous experience in refuse collection preferred but not essential – training provided
Good teamwork and communication skills
