Painter & Decorator

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Painter and Decorator to join Kirklees Council's Social Housing Team.This is a full-time temporary role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

About the Role

• Carry out treatments for damp and mould in various locations.
• Undertake interior and exterior painting and decorating work.
• Maintain the highest level of quality in workmanship and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Efficiently complete tasks on time while adhering to health & safety standards.
• Keep accurate records and stay updated with industry best practices.

Requirements

• Holds City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Painting & Decorating (or equivalent).
• Has experience working in maintenance environments, including domestic properties and schools.
• Has knowledge of applying sprayed finishes and hanging wide fabric and paper lining.
• Possesses a valid driving licence and has access to a vehicle.
