An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Huddersfield.This role is ideally suited to someone who is hands-on and passionate about continuous improvement, with the ambition to progress into a Team Leader or Maintenance Manager position within 18 months.Monday to Friday - Days role - Early finish on a fridaySalary - Upto £42,000

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on a wide range of electrical and mechanical production equipment.
- Minimise downtime through prompt response to breakdowns and effective fault-finding.
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Support production teams by ensuring equipment is safe, operational, and fit for purpose.
- Participate in and contribute to maintenance planning, stock management for critical spares, and site upkeep.
- Mentor and support junior engineers or apprentices as needed.
- Work collaboratively with senior management and contribute to site-wide improvements.
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance engineering in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Knowledge of health & safety legislation and compliance procedures.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the drive to take ownership and grow into a leadership role.
- Desire to step into a team leadership role in the near future (progression plan in place).
