- A recognised Engineering qualification (apprenticeship, HNC) with experience working as a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical OR Multi-Skilled) within a manufacturing business.
- Ideally will be Electrically biased with 17th/18th Edition, but will be expected to do mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic work in a heavy engineering environment.
- Previous experience maintaining various factory equipment, machinery, and plant.
- Basic IT skills to log work on CMMS system and write reports where necessary.
- A candidate who can work as part of a small team and independently.
- Demonstrate an ability to work to strict deadlines and high-quality standards.
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities in order to facilitate the move from breakdown to planned maintenance on site.
- Analyse equipment data to inform and implement the most effective approach towards maintenance.
- Participate in the construction, installation and commissioning of new plant/machinery and upgrades.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams, schematics, manuals and parts catalogues.
- Identify and recommend improvements to production equipment and maintenance procedures
- Work with teams on continuous improvement projects
- The role operates on Days Monday to Friday - 40hr week.
- Overtime Saturday and Sunday maybe required.
- Salary: £40,000.00 to £42,500.00 per annum
