Assembly Worker
Location:Â HD8 (Huddersfield)
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday: 7:45am – 4:45pm – Friday 7.45 to 11.30am (37.75 hours per week)
Hourly Rate: £12.50 per hour
Role Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assembly Worker to join a production team. The role involves working on specialised machinery to assemble high-quality metal conveyor chains used across a range of industrial applications. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and tools to assemble metal conveyor chains to specification.
- Ensure accuracy and quality standards are maintained throughout the assembly process.
- Conduct visual inspections of finished products and report any defects.
- Work safely, following company health & safety policies and guidelines.
- Support general workshop duties, including material handling and housekeeping.
Skills & Requirements:
- Previous experience in an assembly, production, or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential (training provided).
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work with machinery and hand tools safely.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Physically fit to handle materials and perform manual tasks.
