Marks Sattin are delighted to be recruiting a Finance Manager for a company based in Huddersfield. This is an exciting for opportunity for someone to join a diverse, dynamic team dedicated to providing top-tier services in the UK.

Reporting directing into the Managing Director this role is critical in ensuring the financial health and compliance while contributing to strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day financial operations including transactional duties, bank reconciliations, and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare and monitor budgets, analysing and providing recommendations and develop financial forecasts to support business planning.
Generate financial reports and collaborate with the group finance function.
Collaborate with the group finance function, delivering weekly and monthly reports as needed.
Present insight and trends to senior leadership.
Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process.
Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar role.
Advanced excel skills and proficiency in accounting software.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Previous experience working in an SME environment.
ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
Able to demonstrate experience in process optimisation and successful system implementation.
