Finance Manager | Up to £60k | Huddersfield | Construction Axon Moore are delighted to be working with a Huddersfield based client to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. This is an exciting and rewarding role for a hands on finance professional looking for long term career progession working alongside the MD.The role:
  • Report to p/t FD and MD
  • Support Purchase Ledger person
  • Monthly/Annual Management Accounts
  • Cashflow forecast
  • Support Audit
  • Review and process subcontractor payments
  • VAT
  • Support ITBank monitoring
The ideal candidate:Whilst accounting experience in the construction sector / knowledge of CIS would be advantageous this is not essential.
  • ACCA, CIMA, ACA or QBE with proven experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Previous experience working in an SME environment.
  • Able to demonstrate experience in process optimisation and successful system implementation.
  • Advanced excel skills
