Contract: Permanent | Full-Time | £65k - £75k + Package (Experience Depending)
We are supporting a key client with the appointment of a SHE Inspector to join a dedicated compliance team, covering projects across the North of England. This role involves regular site visits, occasional national travel, and overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities- Promote a proactive health and safety culture across all projects.
- Conduct thorough SHE compliance inspections with same-day reports and clear improvement plans.
- Support project teams in achieving the highest SHE standards.
- Lead pre-mortem accident investigations and share lessons learned.
- Deliver in-house training and mentor operational teams.
- Represent the SHE team internally and externally, driving best practice and innovation.
- Extensive knowledge of SHE in construction.
- Diploma/Level 5 qualification in Occupational Safety & Health.
- NEBOSH Construction and General Certificates.
- CertIOSH membership.
- SEATS certification, valid CSCS card, and full UK driving licence.
- Strong communication skills and ability to challenge behaviours constructively.
- Chartered IOSH status.
- SHE-related degree.
- Experience coaching teams and supply chain partners.
