Care Assistant (Female Applicants Only - Client Request)Drivers Preferred, Non-Drivers Considered
The role includes 12-hour day shifts and sleeping night shifts as part of a 7-day rota, ensuring consistent one-to-one care.
About the Role:You’ll be supporting a lady with a spinal cord injury and Autonomic Dysreflexia with:

? Personal care and transfers (using a banana board)

? Monitoring blood pressure and using a cough assist when required

? Attending physiotherapy appointments

? Accompanying her on outings and visits to family

? Light household tasks and providing emotional support

Day Shifts: 12 hours (rotational)

Sleeping Nights: 7 nights a week available- Block pay

? Previous experience in personal care and mobility assistance (training available)

? Kind, patient, and dependable

? Comfortable working 12-hour shifts and sleep-in duties

? A driver is preferred (client’s mobility vehicle available), but non-drivers will be considered

Minimum 6 months’ experience in a care or support role within the past 3 years
-
Passion for providing person-centred, compassionate care

An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to pay £55 for a new check
-
Completion of a 1-day practical training session and online eLearning prior to starting
Full-time | Part-time | Zero-hours contract
Pay:

Day Shifts: £12.60 - £13.00 per hour

Sleeping Nights: £75 per night (10 PM - 9 AM)
Expected Hours: 12 - 40 per week
