Our client is seeking a Quality Manager for a long-term, full-time contract position, based in the Huddersfield region. This role is integral to a large rail infrastructure project, with hybrid work options available and falls inside IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and overseeing quality assurance frameworks for the project
- Defining operating protocols to ensure consistent quality execution
- Running root cause analysis workshops to identify and solve quality issues
- Managing non-conformance close-outs efficiently
- Scheduling and conducting audits and site surveillance activities
- Leading a team to ensure quality standards are met and maintained
- Collaborating with other project stakeholders to uphold quality requirements
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant quality and safety regulations
Job Requirements:
- Experience in quality management, particularly within the rail or civil construction sectors
- Strong skills in quality engineering and assurance
- Previous experience leading a quality management team
- Ability to develop and implement effective quality assurance frameworks
- Proficiency in conducting root cause analysis and non-conformance management
- Understanding of audit processes and site surveillance practices
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Experience with large infrastructure projects is preferred
