Description
Key responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and testing engineering solutions
- Collaborating with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are feasible and efficient
- Analysing data to determine the effectiveness of current designs
- Identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes
- Providing technical guidance to junior team members
- Ensuring compliance with industry safety and design standards
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of technological advancements in the field
- Liaising with clients to understand their design requirements
Profile
A successful Design Engineer should have:
- A hands-on background in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Inventor CAD software and other design tools.
- A genuine passion for engineering.
- A strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, and an outside-the-box approach.
