Child Care Solicitor – Exciting Opportunity in YorkshireÂ
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented and driven Child Care Solicitor to join a growing and dynamic legal practice in a role that offers flexibility, career progression, and a supportive team environment.
The prime role of the Solicitor will be to represent adoption carers, such as grandparents, aunts and uncles in care proceedings. You will provide advice on Special Guardianship applications and support plans, as well as allowances.
This L500 law firm is seeking a Child Care Solicitor to undertake fee-earning work, offering hybrid working opportunities and the chance to be part of a close-knit, expanding team.
Ideally a minimum of 1PQE is required but all applications will be considered.Â
Person specification – key skills/qualifications required:Â
- Demonstrate a high level of knowledge and excellent client care skills
- Proficient in charging for services or knowledge of the eligibility criteria for legal aid
- Good written and verbal communication to deal with a broad range of clients and the willingness to provide the highest standard of client care
- Outstanding interpersonal and marketing skills with the ability to develop contacts for the firm
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
- Self-starter, motivator, meticulous and capable of being innovative
- Advocacy skills
